"Stop the car"

"I SAID STOP THRE FUCKING CAR"

The car came to halt along with loud screeching of tire.

"Saanvi list-"*Thud*, the girl stepped out of the car without paying heed to the boy calling her out.

With a tug on her wrist she was suddenly turned around and embraced in a warm hug.

" Don't be mad at me baby"

She just stands still in his embrace.

"Babbyyyyyy c'mon say something"

His plead again met by silence making him sigh.

"If you're done with your drama then let me go", she said not being bothered by his puppy face.

" Baby it's just for few months, I will be back in a sna- OUCH! "

He groaned when got a punch on his abdomen.

"In a snap? Are you serious Vaibhav? You'll be gone for a whole year." She retorted being frustrated at her boyfriend.

"We decided to meet my parents next week but out of nowhere you have to leave to U.S.A and that too for a whole year. Will you be happy if marry someone else?"

"Saanvi aise kyu bol rahi ho. Mai hum dono ke future ke liye hi jaa raha hun. Agar ye project successful ho gaya toh mera promotion ho jayega. Mujhe bhi tumse dur jaane ka koi shauk nahi hai", he reasoned and held her hand gently wipping her tears which escaped from her doe eyes.

"I know it's difficult to be in a long distance relationship but believe in our love we will thrive through it. And about meeting your parents, I never said no for that. We are still going to meet them"

He gently cooed her and and held her close to his chest.

She buried her face into his chest finding escape from reality and murmered almost inaudibaly, "Don't leave me please."

"You're making it more hard for me saanvi", he sighed helplessly.

Suddenly an idea striked in her brain make her face palm herself and let out a laugh which confused vaibhav.

" I am so silly, I will also accompany you to U.S.A", she announced smilingly sheepishly at him.

Vaibhav knew this was going to come and was not surprised by her antics. He sighed knowing the upcoming struggle to make her understand and not get smacked by her. Summoning the remaining courage left in him he took a deep breath.

"No", was all he could utter and closed his eyes waiting for the outcome.

After a long awkward silence, he opened his eyes to witness a weeping saanvi. Panicking he quickly hugged her.

" Why can't I come along? "She asked bawling her eyes out.

"Cause you have to focus on your career as well, you cannot overlook your work life. I know it's hard but we'll go through it and now don't cry your whole makeup is ruined", he joked trying to lighten your mood.

But this whole thing was not sinking too well in her mind.

At the day of Vaibhav's departure

Vaibhav's Pov:

It's been 30 minutes and still no sign of her presence. Somewhere I knew she'll do this but still I wanted to see her before leaving. Guess what i'll have to go without getting my goodbye kiss. We met her parents as we planned and went on dates to make as many memories as we can to cherish them for this whole year. She's very sensitive in relationships and i can totally sense her insecurity but i promise saanvi I will never let you be lonely.

My thoughts came to halt when I heard boarding announcement. Looking around for the last time, I turned around to board my flight.
